Upcoming changes to the DKP system
Dear Vexillum members,
Patch 3.1 is coming closer with the day, and because of the upcoming new raid we have decided to iron out some flaws in our current DKP system, so we can make a fresh start in Ulduar.
The changes we’re planning to make are:
- A big DKP tax on everyone’s DKP, the exact numbers are as of yet unknown but it will probably end up being somewhere around a 90% decrease to everyone’s DKP.
- A huge decrease in DKP rewarded for Naxrammas, Sartharion and Malygos raid bosses. Subsequently the cost of the items from these raids will also be reduced.
- The Ulduar items will be relatively much more expensive compared to the current reward/cost balance.
The whole point of these changes is to make the relationship between work/reward more balanced and to decrease the current gap between the top of the DKP list and the lower members.
None of these changes are set in stone and Holytiea is currently working hard on the exact numbers and the details. If you would like to react on the plans you can do so on our forum, or ofcourse discuss it with us in-game. Especially the officers who haven’t agreed on the changes yet are asked to share their opinion on the forum/in-game.
Kind regards,
The Vexillum team
